On A More Serious Note

I know you don't usually come here for enlightenment of any sort, but today I think it's definitely in order. Not only has there been tons of stuff going on with the government and workers' rights in Wisconsin, but the catastrophe in Japan is pretty rattling. I have family over there, and it's pretty scary to watch the events unfold every day. This is my new homepage, they have live updates, photos and videos. I've collected a quick bunch of stuff to show.

If you haven't/aren't already, I highly suggest taking some time to read up on what's going on over there, look at the pictures, watch the videos, it's insane. Cars, homes, ships, tankers, are all being tossed about like toys in a bathtub. The most disconcerting problems right now are with the death count, and with the nuclear reactors. As of the first night, there was a body count of 68, going on 100. Last night 2000 bodies washed up on shore. This morning: the headlines stated that the country is running out of body bags. The nuclear reactors are in a state of meltdown, overheating and on the verge of exploding. If they release pressure, it is in the form of red radiation, which emits the same amount of cancer-causing cells in one hour that a person would absorb in a year on average. Everything is pretty fucked up.

So like I said, I know that nobody usually checks this blog for worldly enlightenment, but I can't just sit by why this is happening. Hearing back from Shingo is pretty much the only thing on my mind right now as it is. If you'd like to have a conversation on what's going on in Japan or Wisconsin, hit me up or email me or something.

pancho mullet

Another post! March has been crazy. So much work has been done(work that we put since December) Kevin's made a video, Karl has made 2, so now it's time for mine.
I still have like 2 hours of grant park footage and like 10 minutes of everything else, so I'll make another soon.
Kevin got a virus recently from going to Quim Cardona's website

Kyle Leeper has been KILLING IT! Watching that video makes me wonder why we dont skate in the rain more.

I know I've said buy Minuit before, but now you have a reason to buy it.

Here's a few pix to end with.

Wow. This blog has been going on for like 6 months now. More than that. Awesome. Well thanks to everyone who has continued to look at this blog, or ever look at this blog for that matter. We're actually starting to film and stuff, so after your half-year subscription, you might actually begin to see it pay off. The weather's getting nicer, we're skating more, filming more, and getting more motivated in the ways of actually editing the mountains of footage on our computers. Today's winner: Karl Bermann. The second edition of his lost deltapes series was just uploaded last night. Remember back in October (if you don't, it's fine) when we I always talked about editing that Octobertage video? Well Karl went and did it. I think the entire cast kills it in this one.

Sloths are Cool.

This is my first time updating on a Mac. Or even Firefox actually. Expanding my horizons. But hey I'm just in the zone and I thought about Karl's video and I had to share it with whoever might not have seen it yet. Parker, this means you. But without further ado, here is Karl's newest priceless contribution to the interwebs:

Karl went straight to business on this one. Killing it for years.

(In other news tonight: I might have convinced 1 former planeswalker and 2 prospective planeswalkers to invest in new intro decks/booster packs with me this weekend. About to start the google maps search for comic book stores around the area.)
